Instead, you are flying between trees at 180 knots, using line of sight to both protect yourself and engage your targets. You pop up from behind cover, pop off laser guided missiles at enemy targets, and then get back in the weeds. You fly through canyons carefully, keeping your eyes peeled for that one little soldier with a MANPADS and your finger on the "flares" button.
