For the first time I am really aware of, I bought something expensive because I liked it in an ad. I saw the ad every month in Air & Space, did some cursory research and bought this watch. Like other reviewers have noted, the illuminated features don't glow for an extended period. That's about the only negative element I can think of. The watch itself has a fairly wide case, the strap is comfortable and it's not one of those watches you find yourself having to reposition throughout the day. I bought it because of the way it looks and for the 24hr/Zulu time function. I am overseas and I have the 24hr arm set for my wife's timezone so I know when I can call her.
