My four year old son and I built this model a few months back. It's not the easiest model to build, especially with an excited four year old, but the end result was very satisfying. This kit has three primary problems:
1) You will need a lot of putty to eliminate the seams. The engine ducts are a particularly bad fit, and will require lots of care to make them look good.
2) The missiles and the missile bay don't fit well together.
3) There are a lot of decals and painting that are invisible when you finish the kit. For example, the instructions would have you put warning stickers on all sides of the missiles, but once the missiles are glued into the missile bay, you can't see the backside. Likewise, there cockpit is extremely detailed, with the buckles a different color than the straps a different color than the headrest and so on. But once you put the pilot in the cockpit, you can't see any of that.
