This is a GREAT model kit. Over 1000 parts and highly detailed including a brass photo etch set.
I am building a complete Chinese Navy Carrier group centered on this vessel and a US group centered on the Tamiya 1350 scale USS Enterprise, CVN-65.
For this model I recommend adding the Gold Medal Models Kusnetsov (same class vessel) photo etch set with all of the hand rails, ladders, netting, etc.
I have a full review and build page I set up for the enthusiast who wants to really see it step by step as it came together.
