I have been building plastic models for some time now. I have tried several name brands, all excellent quality, but Revell makes kits of equal, if not better, quality at half the price of the competition. This model in particular, I have seen other similar 1:48 scale F-15s that sell for at least twice the price of this one. The instruction sheet is clear, the painting guide precise(specifies the color, brand and number of the paints) and the decal sheet is incredibly detailed and accurate. As for the model itself, I have built Revell kits in the past and fitment has never been an issue. The fitments are always right on the dot. Not a single piece out of place. You will probably need some supplemental equipment and supplies for those tricky details, but other than that, it has been a very enjoyable build.
